Inlet and outlet pipe areas normally deploy temporary or reusable sheet piles for long stretch of pipe line. Note that deflection of sheet piling cannot be excessive in order to ensure possible reuse of the material. The excavation depth for such projects is generally 5-10m, while width is ~10m.
